Below are directions on transfering files to us from your interent browser. Most browsers support FTP. If you are sending files large in size or think you might be using FTP more often, we recommend you start using a FTP program. They are designed for this purpose. American Online users should temporarily switch to Internet Expolorer or use a FTP program for FTP needs instead because AOL's method is harder than it should be.
1. Before you start, you must contact us for a username and password if you haven't already. You will need this to connect to our server for file transfers.
2. Prepare your images. This means that all appropriate image editing (cropping, resizing, etc.) should be done before transfering. FTP has no file size limits so you can send us high quality files.
3. Place all your images into a folder with your name on it. Also include a text file containing your contact info and any special instructions you may have.
4. Click here to connect directly to our server for transfer. If the link doesn't work, copy/paste "ftp.ejphotovideo.com" directly into your address bar.
5. A prompt should come up asking for a username and password. Enter the username and password we provided for you. Be sure to correctly type the username and password or you will be denied access.
6. A window should open (its normal if its blank). Drag the folder (the one with everything in it) and drop it into the window. Drag and drop! You should see a sign that its transfering. How long transfers take depends on the total file size and your internet connection. You can go do something else during this process as it can take some time to finish. You can bookmark our server for quick access in the future.
7. Once the transfer completes, you're done! Wasn't that easy?
8. We will review your order and if there are any questions, we will contact you before proceeding.
Note: The above described may vary upon which computer platform you use, and what browser and its version you are using but they should all be similar.
We will be happy to help if you are not sure we got your files, not sure you did it correctly, or if you need assistance.
