We can ship completed orders back to you if you are out of state or not close by. If you need the order back quickly, Express Mail is the best choice.

Sales Tax
Sales tax is not applied to orders shipped outside of California. Orders within California are charged sales tax as required by law.

Below are some examples of both good and bad designs for slides. Most of the good ones could also be improved. By looking at these examples carefully, you can get a much better idea on how to design your own slides.

Common Design Mistakes *IMPORTANT*
We have created a lot of slides from designs and have seen many common mistakes. Below are the most common mistakes we've seen and how to avoid them. By keeping the points below in mind, you will create a better ad.

• TOO MUCH INFORMATION - There's a tendancy to put too much information and content into a design. Remember, this is being shown on a screen for a certain amount of time. Keep only the most important information.
• TEXT IS TOO SMALL - Make sure all information is large and readable. Don't make any text too small.
• Design MUST be horizontal, NEVER vertical - If you are trying to use an existing design that is vertical, you must redo it to make it horizontal and keep only the important information.
• DON'T use a white or light colored background when designing because it won't display clearly on the screen. Use a darker background and modify the rest to fit with the darker background.
• DON'T USE LOW QUALITY FILES - Many have a tendancy to use very low quality imagery in their designs resulting in blurry, distorted and pixellated designs. For example, using photos from a cell phone or photos from your email is not what you want to use.
• DON'T USE EXISTING ADS - If you have a brochure or flyer already designed, don't use that as your slide because advertising for print and the screen are completely different. Also, it is most likely a vertical design when the design must be horizontal.

If you are looking to advertise in NAZ 8 theatres, you will need to design a slide for what you would like to advertise. If you don't have a design or don't know how to, we can design a slide that effectively advertises your business. If you choose to design this on your own or you have hired someone else to do it, please make sure the following requirements are meant:

• Design should be 12 x 8" inches at 300dpi
• Design MUST be horizontal, NOT vertical
• NEVER use a white or light colored background for your design because your information will be hard to see on screen. If it's already white or has a bright background, you will have to redo the design with a darker colored background.
• Files should be in RGB mode and saved as TIFFs or JPEGs.
• Design with margins in mind by not placing any important information and content close to the edges because it may get cropped later on.

The above is required only if you are going to design your slides yourself. If we do this, you won't have to worry. If you don't know how to design or are new to this, we can do it or you can hire someone that knows how to. Turn Around Time
Please prepare everything at least 1 week in advance (as soon as you can). Please don't do this at the last minute because it only adds rushing fees to the order. Expect 2 days turn around time if we design the slide for you and an additional 2 days to get your slides produced. So if you have the design file ready and we have it, you could get it in the next 2 days. It will take several more days to recieve if we are delivering back to you. Otherwise, you can pick it up at our location. Turn around excludes weekends and holidays.
